More than a Covid crazy year!1/10/2021 I don't need to tell you how crazy this year has been! But I really must thank all of Sparkles Cleanings' clients and staff for just getting on with it despite my string of terrible luck..
2020 for me was way more than just covid-19, we were released from lockdown and within a week or so I had broken my foot (too keen to get back to gorge climbing - I made a terrible footwear choice!).. I then just about recovered and ended up in and out of hospital over a few weeks until eventually I ended up having major abdominal surgery, which set me back again and Iv only recently started to feel 'healed' to the point where I can start doing the things I enjoy again and now we're back in lockdown *Bangs head against the wall. We have had so many changes to cope with, so many last minute rota changes due to clients having to self isolate, school closures and staff self isolation, but everyone has been so understanding and stuck with us through it all. We are continuing to work for those who need us during Lockdown 2021 and thank you all for baring with us while everything is so changeable!

There seems to be a lot of new Cleaning Businesses popping up these days and although this is great it can also make it more difficult when it comes to choosing the right one for you.
Before agreeing to hiring a cleaner you should expect them to come out and have a look at the job in hand and have a general chat about what is to be required. During this 'interview' be sure to ask some important questions..
For peace of mind ALWAYS ask 'can i get this in writing' if the answer is no then look elsewhere. At Sparkles Cleaning your security and peace of mind is our topmost priority.

Save The Turtles!1/24/2020 So recently, my children have been nag nag nagging about the amount of plastic were using, which is brilliant actually and it has given me the nudge I needed to actually think about what I can be doing to be more Eco Friendly.
I have over the past few month tried out many Eco friendly products and here are my favourites;
One of our goals is to have as little impact on the environment as we can.Not only do we aim to make our cleaning solutions safe, non-toxic and as friendly as possible to the earth, we also find ways to give back to the environment in our daily routine. We recently moved location to a self-sufficient farm in the countryside. It’s completely solar powered and we even have our own veg patch! Head over to our blog post to find out about these recent changes, including our kitchen made from recycled PET bottles. We organise regular beach cleans in our local area and we support the charity Surfers Against Sewage - we’re a proud member of their SAS 250 club
Heres a link to their beliefs which is probably all you'll need to convince you to fully kit your home out with their products! www.ecover.com/our-beliefs/
They use less chemicals than other brands and are fully against animal testing. Get a free trial here smolproducts.com/pages/our-capsules and learn about this wonderful company. |
