Sparkles Cleanings' Guide to domestic and commerical cleaning during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak
During this pandemic we will be working even harder to ensure cleaning is done in a way that will minimise the risk of spreading Covid-19.
RESIDENTIAL CLEANING:
We are unable to return to jobs where there are people who are 'shielding', would consider themselves 'extremely vunerable' or 'high risk' or those where occupants are working in high risk settings, ie. hospitals, doctors.. until 1st August 2020. We look forward to seeing you very soon!
We ask kindly if you could please try to vacate the property when we are cleaning, however we understand that for a lot of people, working from home is the new normal.
In such cases where clients will be home we ask you please to continue with social distancing while we work. Please give us at least 2 metres at all times.
PPE will be used as usual, we will change gloves more frequently and hand wash between changes, face masks have been provided to staff, please ask if you would like us to wear one as this is not mandatory.
Good hygiene at home is strongly recommended, please continue to hand wash for 20 seconds upon arrival or leaving home and before and after completing any tasks at home eg. Making a cup of tea. A short amount of time spent cleaning high touch points will really help kill those germs ! ( See below)
We will do our cleans as usual then do a mental checklist and go over all high touch points upon leaving the job.
COMMERCIAL CLEANING:
While working around others in commercial settings we will maintain distancing of 2 metres and keep up with personal hygiene.
PPE will be worn as usual, we will change gloves more frequently and hand wash between changes, face masks have been provided to staff, please ask if you would like us to wear one as this is not mandatory.
